Rodney Smith
Audit Partner

Rodney SmithSpecializing in auditing and consulting within the church and ministry sector, Rodney Smith brings over 20 years of accounting experience to his role as audit partner at PSK. He has considerable knowledge of quality management processes, including development and documentation of internal controls.

For churches and ministries alone, Rodney is review partner for more than eighty assurance engagements per year, including his recent work on an internal investigation for an organization with an annual operating budget of over $70 million. He enjoys working with growing churches that recognize the value of assurance services and are willing to do what it takes to protect their organizations.

In his past, Rodney was a controller/CFO for a large printing company for 16 years, and also worked as a staff accountant for another CPA firm. He originally studied engineering in college, but didn’t enjoy the coursework. After three hours skimming the business textbooks in the university bookstore, he finally decided on accounting—and the rest is history.
