The year was 1964—an era of doorstep milk deliveries and unlocked front doors. The World’s Fair was held in New York and the Beatles arrived for their first US visit. The game show Jeopardy! debuted on television and the 24th amendment to the Constitution was adopted.

The town of Arlington, Texas, sandwiched between Dallas and Fort Worth, with its rapidly rising population, was in growing need of a CPA firm. Two young, entrepreneurial CPAs, Norman Ervin and Harold Prater, left the stability of an established Fort Worth firm and came to Arlington to start anew. With the help of local bankers, attorneys, and many others, the firm rapidly expanded. As Arlington grew toward its present status as 7th largest city in Texas, and other firms came on the scene, Norman and Harold’s firm remained a leader in Tarrant County.

And Now
While we are proud of our history, we have sure evolved. Service offerings expanded from those early days because of bigger thinking and rapidly-improving technology.
